<p>Dr. Antonio Damasio has been awarded the International Honda Prize for Scientific Achievement. He was the only recipient this year. The Honda Prize was given for Professor Damasio’s contribution to the field of neuroscience. Along with the honor is a monetary award of about $100,000.</p>
<p>Dr. Damasio is also the recipient of the Prince of Asturas Award among other honors and awards.</p>
<p>The Brain and Creativity Institute at USC is directed by Professor Damasio.</p>
