USC Receives $13.3 Million Gift to Fund Robotic Center

<p>Dr. Nikias announced this week the USC Institute of Urology had received an anonymous gift of $13.3 million dollars. The donation will fund the forthcoming USC Robotic Center of Excellence and support initiatives in the fight against prostate cancer.</p>

<p>Inderbil Gill is the Executive Director of the USC Institute of Urology. The National Institute of Health ranked the USC Institute #2 in 2011.</p>

<p>Dr. Inderbil Gill came to SC from the Cleveland Clinic. He has received many awards in the field of medicine. Dr. Gill is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, past President of the 24th World Congress of Endourology, member of the American Association of Genito-Urology Surgeons, recipient of the Dr. Roy National Award given by the President of India, recipient of the St. Paul’s Medal by the British Association of Urological Surgeons. He was named a Pfizer Scholar in Urology. Dr. Gill has written numerous articles in the field and has had eight of his texts published.</p>
