USC Recruit-Player of the Game at Under Armour All Star Game

<p>Last night the Player of the Game at the Under Armour All Star showcase was Mater Dei senior, Max Wittek. Max is a commit to USC and will follow other famous Mater Dei quarterbacks such as Carson Palmer and Matt Barkley.</p>

<p>Max had a fine fourth quarter and drove his team to a quick touchdown with only moments left. The game was shown on ESPN.</p>

<p>Max graduated early from Mater Dei and will enter SC in January. He will be able to participate in spring practice.</p>

<p>great news for SC football. it’ll be interesting to see how the other QB recruit, Cody Kessler, plays in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on saturday</p>

<p>btw, Mater Dei produced Matt Leinart and Matt Barkley. Carson Palmer came from Santa Margarita Catholic</p>

<p>Incidentally, Max Wittek has a 3.77 GPA, according to one of the football recruiting services.</p>

<p>This kid is gonna be special. If I get into SC, I can’t wait to spend the next four years watching him play in the Coliseum.</p>
