Note that in this thread I am not talking about supplementary material in general, but part 4, the creative portfolio list.

As a a production applicant, would it be acceptable to mention material on the creative portfolio list that we will not be able to present? For example, videos I made in my broadcasting class during my junior year that were wiped from the school computers at the end of the school year, or short stories I wrote my freshman and sophomore years that were lost when I reset my computer to factory settings without backing up my hard drive. Please don’t tell me how silly I was for not saving these things, I do regret it!

I would just like to know if it would be acceptable to mention these things. Thank you very much!

They won’t ask to see any of your projects. The Creative Portfolio is a record of all relevant artistic endeavors; it does not prove that you are talented but that you are dedicated and motivated. I’m a production student, btw.
