<p>Does anyone know how much weight admissions people put on recommendation letters to USC SCA that come from very important Hollywood names? Would a letter like that help a student actually get admitted to USC?</p>

<p>Kellybear, no. My brother was working in the industry when he applied. Had two industry (top level) recommendations, was a NMS, but had a low GPA, lot’s of EC’s, etc. He was not admitted, in spite of letters from two extremely well-known people. So, I don’t think the letters make a difference at all.</p>
