<p>I am very interested in studying music and becoming a band director. The University of Southern California offers countless opportunities and learning experiences in not only the field of music, but in almost anything you could think of. The variety of people, the location in the heart of Los Angeles and the outstanding music department all drew me into this school. At USC, I know that I can accomplish my goal of becoming a band director, so that one day, I can teach children and young adults to share the same passion for music that has driven me to accomplish many things. While attending USC, I plan to participate in several music ensembles, including The Spirit of Troy Marching Band and learn everything I possibly can from the world-renowned professors and musicians in the Thornton School of Music.</p>
