Which dorm is the best sophomore dorm?

For instance, what is the culture like in
troy, troy east, century, cardinal gardens, sierra, anneburg house, parkside apts, etc?

Which dorms has the highest sophomores ratio, as opposed to jrs and sr (who already have most of their friends)?

Also, what is the difference between culture in century and troy east? which is more desirable and why?

bumpbum bump

I usually don’t answer dorm questions because I don’t live in 'em, but no one is answering…

The dorm I hear mentioned most often as where sophomores want to be is Webb Tower. If any actual students want to chime in and give answers from real-life experience, I will be happy to be corrected!

troy/troyeast, cardinal, century, and webb are the best sophomore housing options. parkside apts aren’t too bad either.

troy/troyeast is new/north soph edition. cardinal and century are a bit more chill, pretty much similar types of communties. webb is fluor soph edition. parkside apts has a lot of diversity due to the various ethnic floors etc. apart from these housing options none of the housing options have a ‘culture’.

the apts i mentioned above all have way more sophomores than jr/sr. the reason why is because sophs get priority housing registration (1 week before jrs/srs) in 2nd sem of their frosh year due to the “sophomore guarantee”. all the other housing options do have the sophs who got bad lottery times, but also the jrs and srs.

i would go with troy east over century simply due to facilities, but both are ok.

sorry for the bad/shallow answers but it’s midterm season lol.

Agreed with all these, Webb is the newest and is on campus so very convenient. Troy/Troy East are close to the Row. Cardinal and Century are across the street from campus. The caveat on all this is that assignments for Sophomores are lottery based, so it is luck that can determine where you are.

thanks for the responses guys. any other thoughts/opinions?

My son really liked Century for soph. year. Cheaper than Cardinal, which was his other top pick, but not obviously less desireable. I think he lived in the pool! Met lots of new people and was happy to have his own kitchen.
