<p>yeah dude, no one likes UCR lol. actually its been alright but im ready for another school (hopefully USC!!) anyways, i think u have a great shot. My friend just called me and she got in to USC marshall with a 3.4. She’s from UCR too. I don’t think she has any extracurriculars but she does have a lot of her classes done (taking upper divs. right now). i think u are a shoe in for USC with a 3.9… i hope i get in even though my gpa is pretty low.</p>

<p>Sophomores get to know in mid July since they have to send in their spring grades much later. That’s what they said at transfer day.</p>
<p>That means approximately 55 days remaining for us sophomores.</p>
<p>The suspsense is killing me now too. Wait til we get to July, that’s when it’ll really get bad.</p>
<p>Haha yeah I really like UCR. I’ll be sad to leave, but wherever i go, I’ll be having a better time even.</p>

<p>I think that many of the sophomore applicants (freshmen now) will start hearing sooner then the middle of July. I called admissions a few days ago and they said that they can process your application pretty quickly after they get your sping grades. They told me that people will hear a decision about 2 weeks after they have spring grades.</p>
<p>Dude I’m gonna be honest about it. UCR is not that bad, but it did not live up to my expectations. It’s like people in this school have no pride. They don’t care about the school at all. If anything the students here make fun of the school more than anyone else. There is nothing to do over the weekends. The campus literally dies Friday afternoon. I heard at USC the Greek houses are on campus, and not just that, they have color coordinated paint lines on the ground from the Greek houses each leading to a certain dorm, painted specifically so that when a person is too drunk to find their dorm, they simply follow the colored line on the ground that leads to their dorm. For example, green paint leads to one dorm, while red paint leads to another. If that’s not awesome, I don’t know what is. Basically USC = culture. UCR’s culture is as dry as the mountain with the big C.</p>

<p>Hey I was also gonna ask this. They say that our transcripts for spring quarter here at ucr are released on June 26. By the time we do a rush order and pick it up it’ll be June 27. I’m going to go hand it in person at USC admissions office like on the 27th or latest 28th. I was wondering what you guys were going to do. This is I guess only for people who got a request for spring grades. </p>
<p>But the thing I’m worried about is this: they gave us the deadline of June 30 right. What if we get our transcript to USC by June 27 or 28 but it takes more than a few days to process and they basically assume we didn’t get them a transcript since its not processed yet or something. Then we’ll be screwed and they’ll base most of the decision on our hs record. I was wondering what everyone else is going to do about that and stuff.</p>
<p>Yeah I’m in the same situation. I asked the counselor over the phone if waiting until the deadline would negatively affect an applicant’s chances, and he said no. USC is aware that some schools finish later than others and consequently that xscripts will be turned in very close to the deadline. Hope this helps Machine of Sex! Haha.</p>

<p>if you check grades are released by june 26th, and when I asked the office they said this is the deadline, as in the last possible day for grades to be reported. the 2 quarters i’ve been here before they’ve given the grades like 5 days before that day, so prolly around june 22nd or 23rd we should hopefully have it. the woman at the office said whenever your grades show on growl, you can come pick request your transcript. it is true professors might lag sometimes, like they’ll show a GD (grade delay) but let’s just hope this will not be the case.</p>
