I applied to USC as a sophomore transfer
I got a spring grade request
did my first semester at UCB berkeley and for family difficulties I had to move back to southern california and did this current semester at Santa Monica College.
Grades at UCB
Chem 4A = C+
Cal I = C+
Feminist Theory= B+
took two P/NP classes (passed)
Total Units 14, letter-grade units: 12</p>

Anatomy: B
Econ 2: A
Psychology 1: A
Speech 5: A</p>
<p>I completed my requirements except for the college writing class, I called admissions and asked If it would be acceptable if I took it during summer they said it wouldn’t matter if I was rejected from the start (but I wasn’t, i got a transcript request) and to take it anyway. Has anybody done this?
Are prerequisites taking during the summer still counted towards it.
Also would I have less than 30 units for them to take my high school into consideration (do they count APs as units)?? I did really good in high school and I’m really really nervous because I did do so good at UCB (I had family issues and was pretty much using scholarship money to fly home every weekend) Some one please answer I’m really nervous and anxious.</p>

<p>By the way… I have not gotten a letter in the mail yet. It says that my commitment is due JUNE 1st, 2007… THAT IS FRIDAY. I get 2 days to make a decision… w.t.f?</p>

<p>I’m so curious why most of you guys haven’t heard anything yet?? I heard from USC 3 weeks ago and most of you guy’s stats are pretty damn high too. In fact, everyone that I know of from my school heard from USC around the same time I did. They probably do everythingin batches</p>

<p>Another update - Called again, they said that my file is complete and they’ll let me know by june 1st. Sounds to me like “we have a decision, but **** YOU! we’re gonna make you wait an extra two days before we tell you.”</p>
<p>Funny thing is, the lady who took my phone call said “so it’s you again?” after asking for my ID number.</p>
<p>OMG i just called and the guy said that there’s a decision on my file and I should get it before friday. I am freaking out. ahhh does that sound like good news or bad? also, I still can’t get into the commitment page. I am really worried.</p>

<p>T.I.P.: I’m not clear on USC’s policy, but I think colleges look at it on a case by case basis. (at least the colleges that I attempted to defer did)</p>
