<p>If they say its in the mail and tell you when it’s been mailed, ask them if there is another way you can find out your decision- they might tell you over the phone.</p>

<p>i just got back from turning in my deposit, my housing app, and i went to register for orientation. </p>
<p>they opened up a NEW one for July 21st, for all of us who are JUST getting in because I think the 11th is full.</p>
<p>but housing said transfers are guaranteed this year and that everything is good. i think theyre sending out their last batches because it seems they are trying to get ready for the fall</p>

<p>I called again today, still no decision… I asked if i should send in my officials transcripts, the rep told me they can make a decision off of the post card grades i sent in…no idea when the desicion will come though. for the last 3 weeks all i’ve been hearing is “soon”</p>

<p>I have to agree, send the officials… I got a decision in 2 days when I sent my final transcripts in.</p>

<p>i handed in an official copy of my transcript like 10 days ago. i even spoke to my regional counselor today (who infact told me i have a very solid chance of matriculation) and she told me to fax her the unofficial copies of my grades as well. i did this too, and still on my sig account my admission checklist shows that i have yet to hand in my transcript. theyre driving me crazy!!!</p>
<p>just saying this to let you know that even after handing in an official transcript, it is possible that they might lag with the decision.</p>
<p>i hate this damn bureaucracy…at this point i would rather get my decision from a monkey randomly stamping accepted/rejected on applications, i just want to know. i’m soo stressed i feel like i should pick up smoking. argh. frustration.</p>

<p>when did you find out last week that you got in? when could you register for orientation, and when did you submit your deposit?? i went to the office today and they said that only after your payment was processed could you register for it!</p>
<p>but no, I couldnt get my email account yet, but i could finally log onto oasis - but my transfer credits arent even there! :(</p>

<p>I found out unofficially through Oasis, first with being notified of my Financial Aid, then by Moday the 26th I had a completed STARS report. I did not get the letter in the mail, however, until last Friday, the 30th. I logged on to the Orientation website that night and registered for Orientation since I remember someone here saying that Transfers could register immediately. I sent my deposit in Saturday, I was going to drop it off, but figured I’d mail it… probably didn’t move until today though due to the holiday. So… yeah maybe you’re not supposed to be able to register for orientation… but I think we can on the website… at least I could, and it sounds like someone else in this thread could as well.</p>
<p>Hearing that the 11th is full, I’m definitely glad I didn’t wait… though glad to hear they opened another transfer section… I’m just destructively anxious at this point ;)</p>

<p>but I was finally able to log on, but now it only shows the 21st. I want to see if they can sneak me in for the 11th if I plead enough.</p>

<p>I signed up for the 21st a few days ago, looks like they have TWO sections of orientation for the 21st, so I guess it is going to be pretty full. I can’t wait till orientation! I can’t get my e-mail yet, either, I mailed off my deposit monday, so once they receive and process it I guess I’ll be in the system and able to get my e-mail account up and running.</p>

<p>technics, i called them and they keep telling me that they probably have it but it has not yet been processed. what would i say to that. plus i faxed two copies, one to my regional counselor, who i think is the same as yours (teresa sandoval), and one to the general admissions place. so technically they have 3 copies of my grades so far. what do you think i should do??</p>
<p>Hey Sex, I bet you for sure that they’ve already processed your stuff. Like i was saying a few posts up, it took them two days to get out my decision after they received my transcripts.</p>
<p>I guess your best bet is to push. You can’t really do that by just spamming regular admissions people, you have to see if your regional rep can help you, or if there is some other kind of person you can snag. That’s what I did. I don’t know if it helped, but I blitzkrieged everything from admissions to viterbi on my application and chances.</p>
<p>ya this morning i checked and they FINALLY took the transcript “required” thing off. it’s good to know they’re finally looking at my application. i guess it wont be too long from now.</p>
