hobo i dont know what to do for fall. im not going back to riverside thats for sure. it would be the biggest waste of money because i followed the articulation exactly and i know that i only have one more ge req left (scientific inquiry). i was thinking about taking it at a cc by my house for fall and just getting a job. now this girl is telling me that it looks really bad on your application for law schools to have skipped a semester. i really dont know what to do. ne one have any suggestions, please feel free. i can use help on this situation of mine.

SexMachine, i think the girl is full of it… i doubt a semester off of school will hurt you at all. Maybe you should intern at a law office. If i get into spring quarter i’ll see what requiremetns i have left and take those at a CC while working part time !

i was always a little curious as to what do for fall, i think i’m going to wait till i get all the info from USC and maybe talk to a counselor at SC and see that they recommend for GE reqs and mayb classes that can help towards my major… but ya i dont know…

ya i see that as my only viable option. it doesnt make much sense to pay for a full quarter at ucr and rent out an apartment for only one course that i have left for my ge. thats a good idea i should start looking into internships.

btw. if there’s a good number of us (around 3+) that get in for spring, i think it’s only fair we throw a 2nd drinkathon as well for spring semester at sc.

haha i told my friend to buy me a lot of alcohol just in case i get rejected or accepted. If i got rejected ill drink my sorrows away by myself but if i got accepted ill share the wealth :)

I can’t wait for orientation tomorrow. I’m super excited!

me too…but im going to be tired. when are you getting there?

I think around 7ish, and you???

eh me too, but its so early. do we have to be there then? i mean, what is going on then? and where do we meet up actually???

It just says check in starts at 7am so a few minutes late should be fine. We meet in McCarthy Quad, right next to gate 3.

ok sweet, well, I’ll be wearing a grey polo tomorrow (i think) if you wanna meet up, i have shaggy brown surfer hair

Ok, I’ll see you tomorrow. I’m going to try and get some rest. Good night

7am is check in… sit around eat some donuts, bagels, and etc… nothing starts until 8. There are some guided tours, they were of no interest to me… but I did see that people who got there sort of late didn’t get an orientation packet, so that is kind of lame. Get there 7:30ish and you should be fine :)

Hey thanks again mrpuppy. Oh, should I bring a back pack or a bag??

You’re going to get a ton of stuff, bring whatever is most comfortable to carry around that stuff all day… and I mean all day, you’re going to be going until around 5 ish. Everyone had stuffed backpacks by the end of the day

hey hobo and technics, what are you guys going to do after leaving ucr. like do we just not register for anymore classes, or do we notify our dean??
