<p>I was asking some of my friends who have just graduated and most seem to be going to USC or University of Florida or Lafayette and are very excited about it. Since many people from my school seem to be going here it they might be easier for me to get into. I was just wondering what are they like in terms or atmosphere? academics? reputation? etc?</p>
<p>USC as in Southern Cal or South Carolina? Anyway, the schools you mention have very little in common and normally would not be cross-compared. All good schools, though.</p>

<p>OK…Florida and South Carolina are two large SEC publics. Lafayette is a medium size private LAC in eastern Pa. Hard to compare…very different. Florida is a top-15 Public and pretty selective…SC not so much. Lafayette is a pretty well regarded LAC…a notch below the Ivies, if you will.</p>
