USC v UCLA for Mechanical Engineering.

<p>I was accepted for Mech E. into both schools. I am trying to decide which school to go to. Please advise me, thanks.</p>

<p>I got a TA postion from the AME department of USC as a Ph.D candidate. I think for Mechanical Engineering, both of UCS and UCLA are on the same level. While the ME of UCLA(ranks 14) is better than the ME of USC(ranks 26), the Viterbi school(ranks 8) is better than the Samueli school(ranks 13). </p>

<p>To decide which school to attend, you should also consider other things, such as your future advisor, the atmosphere of the university and your financial affordability.</p>
