Is it worth it to appeal my usc denial if I got into UCSB and can easily transfer to USC after a year or two? (therein saving $50,000-$100,000)

You have nothing to lose by your appeal. If you make it, fine. If not, you can go to UCSB. Students do transfer to SC. However, it is not a given. An applicant must go through the selective process. Only a percentage of transfer applicants are admitted. Be sure you take the necessary courses. Make the highest grades you can.

ok… thanks for the advice!
