USC vs. Vanderbilt

I am currently deciding between two schools that I can attend for Music Composition and Jazz Studies: USC and Vanderbilt. I heard a lot about both schools, some ideas geared towards each side, but basically they’re both amazing schools according to others. Which of these two universities would be best for pursuing Music Composition and Jazz Studies?

P.S. I am also considering pursuing Film Scoring sometime throughout college, if this information helps.

Both are good schools, and I would otherwise say just pick Nashville or Los Angeles as a tie breaker, but if you are actually serious about film scoring, then USC hands down is the better option.
