USC's strength?

What are the greatest strengths of USC?

Where to begin….

Are you referring to academic strengths? Or just overall strengths?

Either way, I could probably write a whole essay in response. But to be very concise and somewhat general: I think USC’s distinguishing strength is its unique ability to combine a rigorous, top-notch academic program with an extremely fun and spirited campus atmosphere.

overall: connections, location (not just weather, but in terms of industry and resources as well)

academically: film, business, architecture, engineering

the fact that you listed so many strengths is representative of the strength of USC as a whole.

larationalist, i think you can also add communications/journalism to that academic list

pretty much everything lol :)

“I think USC’s distinguishing strength is its unique ability to combine a rigorous, top-notch academic program with an extremely fun and spirited campus atmosphere.”

I think that is a great description.

tihson- I can only list what I’m aware of. I’m not very tuned in the the “communications industry”… I’m not even sure what a communications major DOES for a living after they graduate!

“I’m not even sure what a communications major DOES for a living after they graduate!”

larationalist,
Thats the beauty of the major!
The communication major is so versatile that graduates can practically do anything with the degree. It is not so specific that after you graduate you are not limited to what job offers you get. And if you graduate with a degree that is so specific and end up not liking what you are doing, then it is rather difficult to start something new.

Hmmm… I am thinking about business major and minor in sth in communication.
