use of ap books for SAT II subject tests

<p>Can I use use my Princeton Review AP Chemistry and Biology for preparation for SAT II Chemistry and Biology (E/M)? If yes, what scores would I get with these (I intend to get 700+)? Further, if I use these books along with Sparknotes, what would be my scores?</p>

<p>You can definitely use them. The scores you get depend on how well prepared you are and how much chemistry or biology you know. In my case, I got a 740 on SAT II Physics with only AP Physics C - Mech knowledge and a tiny bit of E/M (electricity-magnetism). Could’ve gotten 800 if I prepared more for E/M, but oh well.</p>

<p>Yeah definitely. And as rspence said, it depends on your background knowledge and motivation level. </p>

<p>I simultaneously studied for SAT bio b/c I was doing AP bio at once, so reviewing the AP bio Barron’s book really helped. However, the AP book might be a bit too specific / provide too much info that won’t be on the test.</p>
