Use of GC after CC

I was wondering what’s the use of the counselor after perusing CC. We know what the recommendation letters should look like, grades we should achieve and the usual.

Is CC a replacement of the useless GC?

My GC has been switched about 3 times during high school, so I’ve been looking for college info online.

When I can’t find the info, I go to 2 counselors for info. Although I go to my college counselor more often. My regular counselor did write a rec. for me to attend the Princeton symposium, so I do go to him for help, sometimes.

CC is a replacement only for general college questions. More specific questions are usually asked to colleges.

I’ve had counselors, who didn’t know about college admissions and info, so I learned to look up the info myself.

A GC is need for recommendation letters and sometimes, college financial aid and info. Try to ask your college counselor or a more experienced counselor to help you.

Usually, counselors, who are not as experienced, don’t mind.

sometimes, GC’s have LOTS of other non-senior related thing to do I guess.
but then you NEED a GC when it comes to those counselor forms and school profile stuff or whatever.

Suck up to them early and often.

Then get in all the classes you want ;)

And get them to write nice, cushy recs.

They can still be pawned :)

how so?_________

^ oh yeah, especially when the counselor is new.
