Usefullnes of a phsyics degree?

Im a freshman in college now and Im looking at majoring in physics. It interests me but im not completely sure if i would want to do physics after. Ive always loved international relatiosn so i kinda want to still keep my options open. Would having a physics degree hurt/help/not matter if i ended up wanting to go int o a different field, esp law or diplomacy

Well, for law, a physics degree might help you become a patent attorney, which is in high demand and very lucrative… For “diplomacy” there are lots of international issues involving science, a physics major would find a good niche I’d imagine…

If you have the talent to be a physics major, you should do it. If you’re going to be struggling and end up with a low GPA, it’s not worth it, I don’t think.
