USF Class of 2024 Acceptance Thread

Thought I would add, I got an acceptance to honors a couple of days ago. I applied in September through their application but I also qualified for automatic admission (I wanted to do in just in case, idk). Still not sure whether USF is my top choice though

Admitted! Just changed about 20 minutes ago! Check your portals and good luck!

Congratulations, @maggieNE !

Anybody attend this weekends admitted student Bulls Unite day? We had a nice visit, saw college of Engineering.

@HappyNJ did you happen to notice surrounding areas around the university? I have heard mixed things with most stating it is a little sketchy.

We did drive around more this around. But it was during the early mornings and not at night. Nothing jumped out at me as alarming.

The off campus housing complexes looked to be in walking distance and in nice shape.

My D goes to UF and I consider that very sketchy. Most other places look just fine compared to Gainesville IMO.

Accepted!

I applied November 4th. I was under review for a while and noticed they never received my college credits so once I got that updated I was accepted around 5 days after. @kaylaram

Do you know if USF is a big commuter school. Now that schools are closed, we can not visit which makes the decision that much more difficult.

I just visited a couple of weeks ago @Ambcz1221 I would say 5 years ago there was a minimal number of students who lived on campus. However, with the construction of the village, there is enough housing for an entire grade level worth of undergrad students so they are in a way turning away from a commuter school and into a residential school.

Id go UVA if you get in to get in state tuition
