USH Subject Test June 2010 Thread

It would be great if CCers had a place to share concerns or tricky questions. The main thing I want to know is if the level difficulty of the questions is the same or harder than the AP. I thought its MC was fairly easy!

Here's a question to get the ball rolling:

Who of the following authored The Big Money?
A) John Kenneth Galbraith
B) John Kerouac
C) John Dos Passos
D) John Meynard Keynes
E) John Lennon

Wow, that's a weird question. I would have said D because I know he was an economist, but after looking it up, C. That's what they ask on the SAT II??

Well... I wrote that question, but you fell for the trap I set up. You should at least have a cursory knowledge of all five of the choices, and you are probably good.

I know of all of them except Dos Passos.

I'm almost positive there isn't going to be a question like that on the test...

you're probably right! If there is one about Dos Passos (or any lost generation author), you will most likely be asked about some themes in their writing.

Anyone care to share some questions they find tricky/relevant?
