<p>When people find out about explore or admission online, is it through USConnect? Does it show up on the home page?</p>
<p>In the first group of admits this year, admitees were able to access the Explore reservation system through their USConnect AFTER their admission packages were mailed. I believe it shows up under the “Events” tab between the “Financial Aid” and “Contact Us” tabs.</p>
<p>USC admissions has indicated on their admissions blog that they do not expect to mail the approximately 7,000 additional acceptances until late March.</p>
<p>there is no status change under - “application status check”…it still stays -We have received your Common Application and USC Supplement, and it appears we require no additional information at this time.</p>
<p>Also the mid year grade box remains there - even after submitting mid year grade report.</p>
<p>no letter and no notification from usc admissions office- applied before Dec 1st deadline.</p>
<p>One more thing - are there departmental waves too ?</p>
<p>According to the USC admissions blog, there will not be “waves” this year. The information they have posted is that the initial Trustee and Presidential scholarship invitation + initial group of Dean’s scholarship admits have already been notified. The remainder of the decision letters will come in mid-to-late March.</p>
<p>That timetable would match last year’s (2011 cycle) when there also was one group in late January and the bulk of the decisions in mid-to-late March.</p>
