Using religion in Penn State activities essay?

<p>The Penn State activities essay says to talk about your volunteer, EC’s, hobbies, religious groups, etc…</p>

<p>Do you think it would be ok to talk about my religious beliefs (I’m a Christian) in this? I’m kinda iffy although Penn State said it in their prompt. I’ve always heard to avoid controversial stuff.</p>

<p>I plan to talk about my Church, volunteering in the city, talking to kids, and my teacher who used to be a drug addict. So I don’t think this is too radical. Haha. Can anyone confirm if this topic is good?</p>

<p>Havng religion in youre essay shows something about youself. Make sure to have any eventsof how this religious activities helped you to become the person you are other any other ways the essay is requesting you to answer. My english teacher told me “to not Preach it but tell it.”</p>
