<p>Does anyone know if an admitted student can use the $250 travel stipend or if it’s just for prospective students? I suppose my son should just call and ask that question but I thought I’d ask here first.</p>

<p>I don’t see why not. Just because he’s been admitted doesn’t mean that he will end up choosing Pitt. He needs to visit the school to make an informed decision.</p>
<p>From personal experience, I recommend he visit. D1 was accepted a few years ago and offered full tuition and Engineering $$. She visited in late March or early April during an accepted student Honors College day. She outright hated the place. Too much city, not enough campus, weather, etc. She chose to go to school elsewhere. Now D2 just visited (pre-acceptance) and she really likes Pitt. Different strokes for different folks.</p>
