Hello, I have a couple questions about housing at Ut Arlington. I have already been accepted, but do I have to commit to the university to apply for housing because there are a couple other universities that I am also interested in. Also, I do not know when the deadline is and I am wondering if it is first come first serve to get my preferred dorm.

Thanks.

Read another thread on this forum about Housing Deposit Question

When my kids were accepted to UT Austin, they put down a deposit immediately for housing because on-campus housing is scarce. Neither of them ended up going and we lost our deposits but it was worth it for peace of mind. Just be sure you notify the university once you decide where you are going so that someone else can get housing.
