UT at Austin to UT Southwestern Med School

<p>So I am a high school student in Texas, and will be gaining guaranteed acceptance (top 7%) to UT at Austin, and will be attending there barring an acceptance to UC Berkeley. I plan on entering the medical field, and doubt I will be able to afford an out of state med school, so I was wondering how the admissions process usually worked out at UT Southwestern (who gets in, who gets rejected) Just trying to map my path and plan ahead :)</p>

<p>@TexasTeen99, I can’t help you with the med school admissions process, but can tell you that UT Austin is in the process of building a medical school that will be open before you finish undergrad :smiley: </p>
