<p>well my family has always lived in a duplex so I’ve had to share a room for the majority of my life with my brother…</p>
<p>I want my own room now lol. I don’t think I can deal with living in a dorm…community bathrooms, sharing a room with a stranger or even a friend.
I’ve already spent two years of my college life in this cramped duplex, I just want my own space now.</p>
<p>Obviously getting your own room on campus is either impossible or really expensive?</p>
<p>can someone who knows about the dorm life inform me about it . is it interesting and if i decide to live there will i be able to cook my meal or do i have to eat the school’s meal . thanks in advance and are the policies strict</p>
<p>You don’t have any room for more than a mini-fridge and a microwave in your dorm usually, and you’re forced to be on the school’s food plan at most universities (spoiler: school food sucks).</p>
<p>Actually, my ex boyfriend’s brother goes to UT and he said the food was pretty spectacular. There’s a lot of diversity when it comes to food, so it’s not like you would get bored with your choices, unless you’re a super picky eater. Living on campus is a tad cheaper, but I’ve had one bad roommate experience, not looking for another one.</p>

I’m moving to Austin either way. If I’m not accepted this fall I’ll challenge the decision and if I’m still not accepted I’ll take EMT classes and re-apply for spring.</p>

Let’s see… They received my final transcript may 18th so friday… so that means it took just three days which is amazing because they told me it would take two weeks but I guess the transcript processed pretty quickly. </p>
<p>My first choice was nursing and second was McCombs but i didn’t take the business indicator courses but I just put something there because I didn’t want to just put undergraduates… I didn’t realize till after the fact that I needed those course to even be considered but oh well I plan on being a nurse anesthesiologist or nurse practitioner and I ended up getting in to the nursing program which was awesome.</p>
<p>My stats were: 3.9 gpa, I have only taken pre-req courses at this point, I’m in Phi Theta Kappa Honors society, Made the deans list this semester, had probably over 100 hours of community service, tons of ECs, and a ton of work experience mostly from fast food joints.</p>
<p>Hope this helps oh and I also had a W from science class and got a C in a developmental math class in one semester that thankfully didn’t count towards my gpa since it was developmental but ended with a B in my college algebra class so that looked good compared to a C in intermediate algebra so don’t think my resume was absolutely perfect</p>
<p>I feel like my second transcript really hurt me. They received the final transcript 5/11 and i have not heard back. I do have a good resume and 3 good essays…not sure if it will help at this point though</p>
<p>Does anyone know if we can bring guests to orientation. I ask because a while ago my sister had to pay a guest fee to bring someone at her UNT orientation. Plus I haven’t seen anything about a fee on the website. Thanks and congrats the recent acceptances!!</p>
