I called them again and the kind lady said the same: They are making really big efforts to send all the decision until the end of the week! P.S:I called them was almost 4:45 and the international office normally closes at 4:30 p.m, I think they are making overnight shifts =)</p>

<p>When you guys get accepted, do you guys worry about the costs for paying for tuition? If I get accepted and I don’t get enough financial aid/scholarship money, I don’t think I could attend.</p>
<p>Well…I figure I saved so much money already by living at home and attending CC(a semster at ACC for me cost roughly 1000-1500 for 12-16 hrs)
I didnt have to buy books for a lot of the history govt english and econ classes I took because the prof simply didnt use them and told us upfront that they wouldnt. I guess I just got lucky.
I actually ended up with 1000-ish a semester leftover after tuition that I just kept.</p>
<p>I might as well take out a loan if I can’t afford UT through grants and scholarships</p>
<p>I’ll be going into UT with about 60 credits.</p>

<p>i took genetics with sessions at roundrock and i didnt need that book either tbh. I sold it about 2 weeks into the semester and still pulled out of that class with an A</p>

<p>Just out of curiosity, how often does UT rescind acceptances? I’m worried that I’ll have all Bs except for one A this semester, which was different from my grades last semester. Lol this may be a stupid question since I’m not in jeopardy of failing any classes but I just wanted to know.</p>

<p>The Graduate and International Admission Decision Committee is making their final decisions this week and decisions will be released very soon. I do not know the exact time. However, you will receive an email when your decision has been entered on the web status check at that time.</p>

<p>An admission officer told me before that if there is a D or F in your transcript, you would be rejected. So, I don’t think you should worry about your Bs.</p>
<p>i completed my fafsa in the middle of january. i got “randomly” chosen to verify info on my fafsa for ut austin. i turned in the verification as soon as i received it. i had to email them several times to get them to release my unofficial financial aid letter. it is AWFUL. pell grants and federal loans… and one $85.00 grant from the college. it doesn’t even completely cover the cost of attendance. no work study. they told me “As of right now, you have not been awarded the maximum amount in grant funding as there isn’t any funding available. However, you have been placed on a waitlist for additional grant funding and will continue to monitor your file to get you awarded the additional grants.”</p>
<p>what does this mean, really? that i will get the grants? i can’t believe they don’t even let you know if you got any scholarships until june/july. don’t they know people look at their financial aid to see if they can even feasibly attend? how can you accept admission if you haven’t even received an unofficial award letter? just aggravating. i am wondering if i didn’t get awarded more aid because they decided to “randomly verify” my fafsa, and during that time they gave all their money away to other students who had applied after me.</p>

Just a couple of days for we get our answer!!!I fiercely believe they will give us our decision this week! However unfortunately they must have received more candidates,that is why it is taking so long!
But keep our heads up! Let focus in our finals or internships…everything to clear your mind!</p>
