thanks guys…please make sure you click on admissions. Do not rely on the homepage. I had to click on it to see my decision

Congrats hellomartha!
Have you completed Calculus 2?

no i have not even started calculus…

Are there any non international Mccombs applicants that have been accepted? It seems that some international applicants have gotten accepted and non business but I don’t see any Business applicant that received their decision this week.

@Biosciencemajor i think this applies to us that’s why i still have hope.

Anyone in engineering got accepted lately?

@ godly

It may. I’m hoping that I’m being considered for my first major still and assuming that this is the reason for the latent response.

hi guys i am a freshman starting school at a cc in chicago; i slacked at my high school and ended up a gpa of 2.6 with some eccs after which i took a two year gap. Realistically, What are my chances of getting in as a sophmore in mccombs and can please anyone send me the link to ut austin mccombs indicators?

Your HS grades do not have any affect on your transfer admission decision. Your admission will depend almost entirely on your CC GPA which, for McCombs, should be somewhere around 3.8+ for a solid shot.

[McCombs School of Business | Be a Longhorn](http://bealonghorn.utexas.edu/transfer/admission/majors/business)
^ There’s an overview of your indicator requirements. If you do some digging you’ll probably be able to find more detailed information.

and yes guys does ut austin give a generous financial aid package?

@goodjoblyn Oh, great! I think you will definitely get in with your GPA4.0 when you finish your Cal2.

Help# Can somebody recommend me a CC around UT Austin where I can take transferable science courses (i.e. science&technology part I)? I haven’t met that requirement.

If I decide to attend McCombs, I probably will come to Austin during the summer to take those two courses and literature or government.

The tuition is kind of expensive for international students (Our tuition for McCombs is $18466 per semester). So I want to take those business-unrelated courses at a local CC and try to do a minor at McCombs. If some of you know a CC where I can take those courses, please let me know. It will be much better if the CC is very close to the campus or along the bus route since I have never been to Texas.

Thanks in advance. And best of luck to those who are still waiting.

Jeremy

I would recommend Austin Community College. I think it’s like…2 miles from UT and tuition is cheap.

@jeremystory i am an internatinal student and i am thinking of doing the same thing. i am thinking of sharing my 12 credits between Austin community college and u t please if you figure out how to go ahead with the whole process please let me know thanks

@hellomartha

Which school did you get accepted?

@all international students,
We can hang out together this fall, if i could get in!!

@goodjoblyn i got into my first choice undecided/ pre pharmacy . my second was biochemistry . and hanging out will be fun. hope the other students get accepted

I’m still praying for you guys. we will meet at the orientation

CONGRATS to everyone who got in!
I’m an international applying for Advertising & still haven’t got my decision yet…
Probably next week? anyone else here still waiting?

@Jeremystory take classes at Austin community college. it’s like a few mins from UT [Austin Community College - Start Here. Get There.](http://www.austincc.edu/)

Congratulations everyone! I hate to be a bother again since I posted this a few days ago, but it’s been eating away at me (mainly because my hardest exam is on Tuesday). If I have one C, a few Bs, and one A- this semester, will it affect my admission being revoked? I heard that you only need to be concerned if you are failing a class but I am still concerned.

i really do think they are waiting for my cal 2 grades now…

Status check:

"Your application for admission is in review.

We have all the items we need to make your admission decision. As soon as your decision is made, it’ll be posted on this page and you’ll be notified by mail."

@stanfordlvr_2011 Thanks for your suggestion. @SONIAJR Thanks so much for the link!! That seems a very nice choice.

Oh, good luck to you @SONIAJR and all other still waiting!
