I have more than 24 hours, but my gpa is only a 3.43. So I think I’ll probably be one of the ones to here back in the next week or two. Knock on wood thought.

@Artix01 If you GPA is good (and your essays are ok) then I’d say you’d have a good chance.

Just finished my semester at UMass, with a year GPA of a 3.89 with 29 credits. Took Dual Credit Courses at ACC in high school for 18 credits at a 3.5, totaling to a 3.75 ish. Should I send over my official transcript to UT with my new grades? Haven’t heard back yet

they probably wouldn’t review it unless they asked for it anyway at this point.

@CLATX123 No, only send those in unless you don’t have all the prerequisites or hours completed. If you are denied then submit your spring grades with an appeal.

so I went to my Honors reception yesterday and spoke with 2 other Jack Kent Cooke semifinalists who
were Honors students as well and neither of them had heard back yet either :frowning: One of the colleges I applied to offered me a 40k scholarship to attend. The deadline passed May 1 so I told them my situation - they offered me another $7000 in grants to come there. But it’s in Wisconsin. I would really hate to turn this school down and then not get into UT. I can’t believe it is taking them this long. I also got accepted to UW Madison and College of William and Mary but have not received my financial packages from them yet
