^ that’s exactly what I was thinking @harugaru
Has any international student received a email from admission about that they wrongly sent us a email about webinar?
I received that e-mail but I did not receive any email about webinar, which makes me very nervous. I really want to know if anyone has the same situation as me.
I received the exact same email, but I did not hear about this webinar before…
Same. I received that e-mail but I did not receive any email about webinar.
Same here. They also said no transfer international has received a decision yet! I think I remember someone got admitted in this forum though!
Maybe by the time we get our PhD’s they might release something :))
@msfmp1 if you want to hop on a freshman tour they’re totally cool with you being a transfer! I went last week with freshman, transfers, and a grad student and they answered all my questions and the guide pointed me to the housing building for further questions
good to know that some of you got that email too!
I’m really sorry to hear that. I’m also in civil engineering but I haven’t heard back. Did you have all A’s in your pre-req classes?
A friend of mine got into Cockrell ( Electrical and Computer) with 3.6 GPA.
@Diplovsn Do you know when they found out?
How do 2nd choice majors work? I know a lot of people that got into their 2nd major, but from what I’ve heard from faculty is that they don’t really consider it. What do they actually do?
Hi I am international student, and I sent out my Freshman Fall when I applied.
They haven’t said anything about Spring Semester. (i conacted them anyway)
Do you think they will give out decisions soon?
Someone may have already answered this question, but what does mystatus say when you’re admitted?
@OGmandyV “Congratulations, “Your Name”! You are admitted to The University of Texas at Austin.
You are admitted to the “Your major” major in the “College of Your Major”, where you may begin your studies effective Fall 2018.” It’s right at the top. Also to touch on other’s questions, the status update came first for me. The email probably got sent out hours later.
when you first get to the home page of mystatus and it has that box for messages, when you get your decision is there a new message?
Hey! I’ve been reading everyone’s comments on this thread for awhile & I’m trying to transfer into Liberal Arts: Health & Society. Is there anybody who already has been accepted into this major?
I have a theory, may be wrong but what if UT, according to their standards, are releasing decisions early to those who were rejected because so far, that’s the case. Maybe if you haven’t gotten yours yet, they know if you get admitted, you will accept so they are taking it their own pace. This is just me thinking about random stuff,
@hdhsbhbdna Just clarifying, what you said is a hypothesis not a theory
