IF DECISIONS DONT COME OUT THIS WEEK IM GOING TO LOSE IT GUYS
i feel you @jumpo69
Does anyone know anything about how difficult it is to get into CNS Biology? I know thereās stats for admitted transfers on their website, but the closer we get to June 15th the more worried I feel about not getting accepted
I applied with a 3.87 GPA and 37 hours, my essays were good (in my opinion) but I didnāt have any letters of recommendation. Do you guys think that not having LORs will hurt my chances?
The mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell
@Thompson2688 Thanks, my worries are cured
@ jumpo69 I understand the pain you are feeling on a spiritual level but they do have 16 days left to release decisions. They did say June 15 after all. Right now, Iām just chilling and trying all I can not to lose my mind, I recommend breathing exercises.
So my GPA went from a 3.8 last semester to a 3.903 this after the spring semester. Seeing as theyāve had my Spring transcript for like 2 weeks now is there a chance they will review it before they release decisions in 2035? Or will I have a chance to appeal if Iām denied. Iām Aerospace if it matters.
@hookmepls I believe you will get in. 3.87 GPA may be a reach for engineering but it is quite high for CNS Biology
Anyone for COLA gov hear yet? I know some have, just wondering if there have been any others.
Any news for RTF?
What about Sociology?? :-?
Is there any way to see the degree audit and exact GPA UT admissions calculated with my transcripts?
@longhorn322 nothing at all today
@Thompson2688 nothing back for me
yes, go to your audit results. then go to courses. it will have all your courses with the grade received. Then just do a generic gpa calculator
Also, I havenāt heard from Mechanical Engineering yet.
Sent my spring transcript about a week ago and they received it today. Trying to raise dat gpa since Iām fully invested in UT Austin at the moment⦠seriously though these decisions need to be announced.
@zfol32 Ok thanks, I have two classes from 2009 I withdrew from and received a āWā and then a class I failed in 2013, but for a very legitimate reason that was explained in my essay plus in one of my letter of recs. And I donāt see any of those classes on my degree audit? Maybe UT is actually āholisticā and didnāt use that āFā in my GPA calculation after they reviewed my application I hope haha!
@swimmer181 did you submit your spring transcript?
@zfol32 I did, and those were on the audit with a grade tooā¦So if they really did not calculate my one āFā into my GPA I have a 4.0 with 60 credits (it was also a class that wouldnāt have counted towards any degree plan or core)ā¦if they did I have a 3.74
