@RashIn no idea… I feel like we should call them, it’s already the end of may and we still got nothing… It’s unbelievable, I need to accept the offer from another university and I can’t afford waiting any more time

I’ve seen several acceptances today, most of them were CAP and all of them were RTF

I got accepted into advertising at around 2 today!! Might have been earlier but thats when I checked. I previously appealed to be a transfer bc I got put into CAP and I have around 70 credits I can’t remember exactly lol. 3.7 gpa, good essays, 2 good letters (no idea if they actually saw them bc they were part of my freshman application) 300+ hours of volunteer work, was in yearbook committee, stuco, and other extracurriculars. I hope for the best for everyone still waiting!!

I don’t think any international student has heard back. Someone said admission office would release all the decisions at the same time. I hope we can hear back tomorrow.
So let me get this straight. Freshman applicants are now able to be deferred to cap, appeal, and then apply as transfers…
This sounds extremely unfair to transfer applicants, you pretty much get to apply twice.

Who else has lost years off their life worrying about a decision? I want nothing more than to be at UT Austin but this is killing me. I just want a decision. I’ll forever love Austin but I feel like my anxiety about this is too much to handle. Everyone is going to have a great life no matter what happens. Good luck to everyone who applied and let’s stay positive, optimistic, and paitent. I hope everyone gets the decision they wanted.
@jumpo69 I don’t think that is what happened to @ellex.
Looks like they applied for freshman admission and were offered CAP. However with 70 credits, CAP probably would not have worked. Hence, they appealed to be considered for admission as a transfer rather than as a freshman and were accepted. I don’t see what is unfair about that.
I don’t even know anymore… X_X
I wish could send a ghost to admission office and check our application status.
