I was a cap student, just got admitted this afternoon for evs in jackson.
3.74 GPA and had good essays and resume.

I’m a psych transfer from tamu with a 4.0 and I’m still in review. I don’t think your chances are lower if you haven’t heard back yet.

From what it looks like for Engineering and CS, the applicants on this thread that are still in review have decent stats. I personally know in-state applicants with 3.5+ and 4.0’s that have been rejected so it probably says something about our whole application rather than our GPAs alone.
@chinford were you CAP? I was at UTSA as well with CAP transfer into COLA…chose to apply to CNS Public Health as well, with my 2nd choice as COLA Psych
