Just 2 and a half days left, we almost there, keep it on ^^. Btw, I don’t see any relation between freshman and transfer, most of transfer are completed almost basic classes and going to take major classes. We don’t compete with them to enroll to their classes.
Well that sucks
Not to sound dramatic but I’m honestly heartbroken.
A word of advice: don’t choose the school of fine arts as a second choice major, they do not consider ANYONE who applies as a second choice. I got confirmation of that yesterday. Personally, based on my experience, I believe that UT does NOT really focus on holistically reviewing applicants. I do believe that GPA is the biggest factor, yes you should have a few EC but for me they didn’t make a difference. People who get rejected should not make anyone else feel hopeless. Everyone is different and different admissions counselors make different decisions. UT is a great school and don’t let getting rejected stop you from applying next time. UT will continue to raise the bar for acceptance, especially with the fact that tuition will now be free to those from low-income backgrounds. I wish everyone on this forum could get accepted because you all have such amazing credentials. I wish nothing but the best for all of you!!
Goood luccckkkk !!!Adrian3243 out
@harugaru they do correlate considering they can only have a certain amount of students go to their school. Idk, that’s just what the admissions office told me.
Unfortunately I knew from the start that GPA is 90% of your chance. The ECs/LORs only matter when they are deciding between people with the same GPA
Who else’s application still says ‘in review?’
@adrian3243 I wish you best of luck in your future!
RTF
pretty much everyone
@student12322 mine is still in review as well.
Are you RTF too?
@student12322 I’m still in review
No, i’m not RTF. I applied to COLA.
I applied to COLA as well
It seems like the COLA decisions are going to be released last
That sucks honestly, I’m so nervous
External CS Transfer, Still in Review
2 of my friends got into CS internal transfer last Friday. Still in review - External
There haven’t been many CNS decisions either, only for CAP students
There hasn’t been any external cs decisions since late April
@jumpo69 I know people that were rejected from CS external about 2 weeks ago.
