@impossiblethings Plus, most of them were rejected from the first choices in April or early May, and the decisions in June were regarding their second choices. UT is really behind schedule if they do not send out any decision by the first week of May.

Hello, does anybody here choose computer engineering as your major in ApplyTexas, but in mystatus, it appears as electrical engineering??

If you get rejected from your first choice will they let you know if you are being considered for your second or will your application just say “in review” still?

@hookmepls Not usually, but if the second choice is much less competitive and you have a high shot at it.

Do decisions only come out at the beginning and end of the week? I know a lot of people are looking to Friday, so I was just curious.

@OGmandyV well fine arts people heard back on Monday of last week, so that’s why we were initially hoping for Monday, but since they didn’t we are now hoping for Friday because last year’s first big wave of decisions came out on a Friday.

@BluePinkerton same. It’s emotionally exhausting! Just give us the damn answer!! I almost don’t even care if its a rejection just so long as I know one way or the other. The waiting game is awful.

@ResultComeOut There isn’t a separate Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering. They are combined into one major, so Electrical = Computer

Ikr I asked UT admission twitter and also sent a DM to clarify when the decisions are coming out, but no replies
