Just spoke to the International admissions counselor …It is going to be next week or week after. she mentioned sure by month end !!!
To be completely honest I honestly don’t know how I checked it lol. I think it was when I tried to apply for the scholarships and it said there my GPA that UT took in and the hours I was transferring, but I’ll check it again and I’ll let you know!
Man this waiting makes preparing for finals 10 times harder
@colanxgirl thanks for letting me know. I was shopping and couldn’t search through on my phone very easily.
I wonder why this cycle is so behind schedule.
@aweomesaucee thank you!!
Are we not suppose to see the decision in June?
@Anikoo Many people base their expectations on what has been released in the past. Technically, the latest you will hear back is Mid-June. Personally, I think big waves of decisions will be released in May, but I am hoping for the sooner.
Slightly out of place since this is the external transfer thread, but does anyone here know about internal transfer? How does the competitiveness for internal stack up compared to external transfers?
@sentry1080 Depends on the major
@awesomesaucee Math?
@sentry1080 I have heard internal transferring into Math is not very difficult
Just make sure you are doing well in your math and science courses and keep a good GPA, since the Math major is in CNS and this is the criteria they signify as a competitive applicant.
So… I’m guessing nobody heard anything today?
No… For now, the earliest possible date seems to be 20th, this Friday.
Is there a certain guideline for appeals/a link or anything with more info on them? I wanna be prepared to appeal in case I get rejected
Are there any admission statistics for Cockrell? I’m wondering if a 3.8 is high enough. I just wish I could see like average accepted GPA or something.
@aznhunnielover go to the first page of this thread and there is a list that shows everyone who was accepted to the different schools and what their stats were.
