Now, this is ridiculous why they don’t act like Texas A&M? They are just doing it worse each year. Do they think that the UT is the only school we have applied? Honestly, I get more interested in A&M day to day. At least they respect their future students.
Tamu hasn’t given out engineering decisions either. Tbh UT Dallas is looking good. Only because I’ve taken differential equations and calc 3 and tamu won’t take those or my programming classes.
It’s such a low blow to students who have 30 + hrs who have all pre reqs done to wait until may. Especially since we have to accept all the scholarships to other schools by May 1st. I’m really losing my mind hear guys. I can’t wait for this to be over so I can stop feeling so manic. This is the absolute worst.
@jumpo69 that’s not true about tamu. I got accepted to Electrical engineering 3 WEEKS AGO. A friend of mine got denied to MechE yesterday. Point is though UT is still taking ridiculously long.
Wow they were really curt on the phone :-< . She said “historically” the decisions are usually mid May to June which just isn’t true. Historically it’s been students with the required hours got their decisions earlier than that. So honestly I don’t think the people answering the phones know what they’re talking about. She said it would be handeled on a case by case basis. I don’t think we have any way of knowing. Decisions could be released today or next week or later. Though I definitely hope it’ll be sometime in the next week. I feel like if college of fine arts got theirs we should get ours soon?? Especially in the less competitive majors?
We should probably stop pestering them. They are probably feeling as bad as it is since decisions have not been sent out yet. We all just need to take a breather, take a break or go for a walk, and come back. It is really frustrating but we’re all humans and we make mistakes, even those in college admissions. Hopefully some will here back today, there’s still a chance.
