@cman1234 congratulations!!!
@cman1234 Woah congrats!!! UT has a wonderful petroleum engineering program!
I am transferring from UTSA and thanks yaâll!
@cman1234 CONGRATS !
@cman1234 Way to go man! Grats!
@lilliebeck Oh ouch, thatâs definitely tough.
@cman1234 Congrats!!! I go to UTSA right now as well
Wow.Congratulations @cman1234 . I was expecting it all to start with more people getting their decisions. MyStatus is down again!
As an external transfer with under 24 hours, thatâs really reassuring to hear UT admissions will get back to those students so quickly after submitting their spring transcripts! I hope thatâs true, Iâm itching to finish school and get my grades in ASAP
@cman1234 Congrats! Added you to the list
@CleanShoes and @Zeoxys Thanks for yâalls input, but an A in cal 2 is not going to happen. We have two finals and one is only over infinite series and the other is over everything plus infinite series. Does anybody have any good resources that help with infinite series?
Im at UTSA as well! lmaooo Can we start a support group for UTSA students? Im definitely stressing!!
another day, another dollar.
Do you guys think that it matters what school your transferring from, except for instate vs out of state? I just hope I donât get denied.
I had a question. After one whole year of being at Penn State, I question myself if itâs really worth it to transfer to UT Austin in the Petroleum Engineering major despite losing my CGPA and perhaps a semester worth of PSU credits.
I mean, they do rank fairly the same both worldwide and major wise, while UT has slightly better rankings, including its Petroleum Engineering program. Im having mixed feelings about this. Assuming I get accepted, should I really transfer? I would appreciate if you guys could advice me on this. Thank you.
@utcshopeful
The school youâre transferring from doesnât matter.
A gpa is a gpa to UT.
A student with a 4.0 from community college ranks higher than a student from Rice university with a 3.8 in the eyes of UT admission
When will I hear a decision? Does it associate with when I submit my application?
@prayingUTGuy01 no, only if you have the required hours and courses.
those of you at UTSA, how do yâall like it? Thatâs probably my second choice school if I donât get into UT
@sean191297 honestly, Iâm pretty sure you are set with that degree no matter where you are. Its really up to you and where you want to live/be.
