got in with 1210 SAT and 3.75 uw/ 4.4 weighted. → CNS& oos!

I got capped and am so confused with it.

So this means majors in COLA or majors not in COLA??
What does capped mean
Applied to Biochemistry. Top 1% and still waiting… Starting to get very worried 
My son got CAP’d. 1390 SAT, 30 ACT, good essays, decent ECs, 4.0 GPA(3.67 unweighted), top 30%, in-state, applied late November before deadline… bummed for him.
ACCEPTED!!! McCombs; ACT 34: GPA 4.1/5,0; Non-Auto; High School doesn’t rank outside of top 10% so I don’t know my rank; rigorous courses and good EC’s & Rec Letters; In State. Good luck to everyone!
Got CAP’d also. I’m not sad! I was honestly expecting a straight up denial so I feel pretty good! Doubt I’ll do it but it gives me something to think about for sure. Really hoping I can just get into A&M though, it’s my first choice. (Sorry, Longhorns!)
Son just got accepted to McCombs - no email though. in state - non auto - national merit semi finalist - top 9% of 1400 graduating class. 1490 SAT, 780 Math SAT II, all AP classes.

CAP is Coordinated Admission Program where student go to one of the UT system school for 1 year and has 3.2+ GPA of 30 credit hours, then they can transfer to UT Austin sophomore year … Good luck …
