<p>I’ve been looking for good aerospace PhD programs in control systems and I can’t decide between either of them. Which has more research opportunities & more funding? Which one has a more “college town” feel & is one easier to get into than the other?</p>
<p>Also, I’ve been wondering whether an engineering grad school cares about what engineering background to a certain discipline one has (such as electrical or mechanical engr. for an aerospace program). I’m about to graduate with a degree in electrical engineering (with minors in comp. sci. & mechanical engr.) & plan to pursue a master’s in computer science at the same school (since that program has more classes that I’m interested in and there’s no aerospace program or division at my school). Would an aerospace grad school program or any other engineering grad school consider my application differently because of my different major?</p>
<p>Any suggestions for either of these schools or other aerospace PhD programs would be appreciated.</p>
