Not a critical piece of the conversation but Syracuse is much, much closer to Cornell than to Marist! I’m interested in where your daughter chose! Mine is heading off in the fall for a BArch, too.

So sorry this got lost in the end of year shuffle. She decided on UT. The cost and honestly hassle of going so far was really just too hard to overlook. After admitted students day where the dean and current students met with her and a handful of others, she really saw how small the school of architecture is and felt more confident that she wouldn’t just be a number.
There were tears shed for what ifs, but she’s very excited and feeling good about her choice especially after orientation.
