I heard this school is on par (level of difficultly to get into) with UC Irvine is it true? What are the stats for this school? thanks</p>
<p>UT is very difficult to get into because a large percentage of the class is guaranteed admission under the Texas top 10% rule. About 76% of the class comes in that way. That leaves very few slots for the rest of the country and for the rest of the Texas students that come from very strong HS and just missed the top 10%.</p>
