<p>I realize that this school is not the best university in the world. But a teacher of mine knows one of the professors in the physics department and told me to check it out. I applied for the ARCC Scholars program and have an interview this month. I guess my question is: does anyone know anything about this school? Any warnings? Also, is does anyone know if the physics department and ARCC program are as good as I am lead to believe? Thanks.</p>

<p>It’s a decent branch school, but you also have to live in Brownsville.</p>
