What are my chances at UT?</p>

<p>Well I know Memorial High School is super competitive ( I have friends that go there ) but maybe if you pick a major that’s a little less competitive you could get in. Since you’re a junior try to get your rank a little higher
Your SAT is really really good though</p>
<p>UT admits students first before getting a major. So the first screening is where they check the rank.</p>
<p>The major does their own screening once admitted and determines whether they can admit someone. It is quite possible to be admitted to UT and be assigned to general education or something like that if someone is not competitive for the major requested.</p>
