UT Dallas or Arizona State University ( Carey )?

I am an international student, and I have been accepted to both ASU and UT Dallas for their undergraduate business administration programs. So I have to choose between the UT Dallas School of Management and the W.P Carey School. Which one is the best in terms of education, prestige, and general quality ?

Thanks.

The problem is that satellite campuses are usually less prestigious and usually lesser quality. They just serve as cash cows for the main university to crank out degrees to students who wouldn’t get in at the main campus.

I am not sure if a degree from UT-Dallas will say Dallas on it or just the University of Texas. Either way, you’ll always know that your UT degree was not earned at the main campus. UT-Austin is certainly a very good university. UT-Dallas is not bad, but it’s not good either, and it’s probably the best of the satellite UT campuses.

I would go to Arizona State. Arizona is pretty cool. Tempe is a decent college town, and ASU is 10 minutes away from the more fashionable parts of Phoenix (Scottsdale, AZ etc). ASU also has great facilities.

Another vote for ASU.

I sat in on a class at SMU being taught by a professor who mentioned his years as a student as ASU. So apparently it must be a decently-respected school if SMU is hiring ASU’s students as professors.

Bump.

Any more ideas and thoughts on both Business schools, and their relative quality ?
