UT Law in state?

Does anyone know how much of an advantage there is for in-state students applying to UT Law school. If the overall acceptance rate is 15%, how different is that for in state students?

It’s probably easier, but I would guess it’s still pretty tough. The actual acceptance rates are kind of meaningless by themselves.

State law limits the percentage of the freshman class at UT Law that can be out-of-state residents to 35%. Otherwise in-state residents are not favored. That 35% rule likely creates at most only a slight advantage for in-state.

Just look up the average index score to get into UT and extrapolate from there.
