UT Plan II vs Boston University CGS

My daughter is trying to decided between UT Plan II and BU CGS. Any insights outside of the cost difference (we are in state for UT) would be greatly appreciated!

I cannot speak on UT Plan II, but I can speak on the College of General Studies(CGS). The curriculum at CGS is an interdisciplinary curriculum with courses in humanities, social sciences, rhetoric and natural sciences. The curriculum all comes together during a Capstone project that students complete during the second year of the program. After two years in the CGS program, students will continue to their college of choice, so long as they have meet the prerequisite requirements and have the right GPA. There is a few exceptions to this which is continuation into the College of Fine Arts which has an additional audition requirement. While at CGS, students have the opportunity to take courses in any college at BU to explore the different majors offered, or if they already know, then they can start taking courses in their chosen field.
