Which is best for pre-med program?.. A CUNY college or Utica college?

If you can get into Macaulay Honors for CUNY, then I would say CUNY. Otherwise, I have no idea

Utica College is part of Syracuse University. Syracuse is top notch for pre-med.

Utica College is almost an hour away from SU and is a stand-alone school. It’s much smaller than SU and you would have smaller class sizes. It’s typically a B-student school and, although they are well known for certain programs like OT, they are definitely not an academic powerhouse nor do they have prestigious faculty. If you’re an A student you’re likely to get large merit money:) Overall, it’s a decent small school with a ton of local kids attending and so-so facilities (nothing really special, 70’s looking architecture)…Utica is not the most beautiful/interesting of cities in general. I would not expect the caliber of programs/pre-med advising that SU delivers. However, your undergrad degree will be from SU, if that makes a difference.

Why is the choice only CUNY and Utica…what about all the SUNY’s?!
