UVa ED and Affirmative Action

I would disagree on SAT’s being a minor thing, their a big part of UVA admissions. Of the 15 or so kids who applied last year from my school, six of those who had 3.8-3.9 Uw didn’t get in. thenthere were also those with 3.2’s who got in. the big difference: Verbal scores. As an admissions officer told me, these is the most imprtant number because it affects so closely how well you do your freshman year. I would recomend you work on the verbal. If you can hit a 670, you’re in.
